Fees for Services
Payment is due at the time of service. For in-person appointments paid by cash or check, please have your payment ready at the beginning of the session in order to maximize our time together. If you are paying with a card, we only cover the processing fees for debit cards. (Credit cards are currently processed at three percent.) You may submit receipts to your insurance company for reimbursement. Upon request, you can receive a receipt at the end of the month, and we will be happy to work with you to provide anything else you will need for insurance reimbursement.
All first appointments are $250. After that the standard fee applies; one clinical hour (50 minutes) of therapy is $235. However, for couples’ sessions, the standard fee is $250. I have limited spaces available for below-fee patients.
Please talk with me about fees before we begin. Depth-oriented therapy is, in my opinion, an investment, not an expense. My hope would be that what you gain from your time in therapy will last a lifetime and be worth much more than your financial investment!
Assessment prices are based upon the number of hours it takes to do the testing and the cost of the materials themselves. In general, ADHD testing, for example, may take ten hours and require a minimum of four tests. Fees may be reduced if a summary of results is selected instead of a complete psychological report. I will be happy to give you all these options up front so that you may know ahead of time what the costs will be. As with psychotherapy, I will be happy to give you all the receipts necessary to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
